Behind June Design are Katherine and Julie, two designers united by a desire to create interiors that are both elegant and authentic. Their signature: spaces that soothe, inspire, and stand the test of time.
THE FOUNDERS

Katherine Cloutier is a creative entrepreneur with a rich and multifaceted background, recognized for her instinctive sense of aesthetics and her ability to envision spaces that radiate harmony. Long drawn to the arts, textures, and thoughtfully composed environments, she pursued studies in interior design to deepen what has always come naturally to her: creating spaces that are beautiful, functional, and deeply aligned with the way people live.

Having led several businesses over the years, Katherine brings to June Design a strong professional maturity, a refined approach to client service, and a rigorous mindset when it comes to project management. Her process is guided by attentive listening, a deep understanding of clients’ needs, and a constant commitment to visual coherence.

As co-founder of June Design Interior, Katherine shares the studio’s creative direction with Julie. Together, they design warm, timeless, and refined spaces, blending their sensitivities, artistic vision, and shared passion for authentic materials and organic atmospheres.
For Katherine, an interior should tell a story, evoke emotion, and offer a beauty that never goes out of style.
Julie
Julie Métivier is an interior designer guided from an early age by fashion, aesthetics, and a deep appreciation for beautiful things. She chose to redirect her career to fully dedicate herself to interior design and the creation of harmonious spaces, where every detail contributes to a thoughtful and calming atmosphere.

A mother of two, Julie brings natural patience, sensitivity, and attentive listening to every project she undertakes. This gentle, human presence allows her to truly understand her clients’ needs and to design environments where people feel genuinely at ease.

Inspired by nature, refined materials, and warm atmospheres, her work reflects a soft, timeless, and elegant aesthetic, influenced by Californian design and authentic textures.

As co-founder of June Design Interior, Julie shares the studio’s creative direction with Katherine. Together, they imagine cohesive, warm, and carefully balanced spaces—designed in harmony with the lives of those who inhabit them.

Julie believes that an interior should tell a story—the story of the people who live within it—and strives to create spaces where beauty is felt as much as it is seen.
